The victims are both Irish immigrants, and O'Shea soon discovers that they were involved in a secret organization. This organization is involved in a wide range of criminal activities, including drug trafficking, prostitution, and murder. O'Shea quickly realizes that he's in over his head, and he's going to need help if he's going to solve this case.
O'Shea teams up with Father Kevin Dunne, a Catholic priest who is also a former IRA member. Together, they begin to investigate the organization, and they soon discover that it's more powerful than they ever imagined. The organization has its tentacles in every corner of Montreal, and it's protected by corrupt politicians and police officers.
O'Shea and Father Dunne are determined to bring the organization down, but they know that it's going to be a dangerous game. They're going to have to put their lives on the line if they're going to succeed.
And Pickled Pork Tongues is a fast-paced and suspenseful thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. O'Shea is a complex and compelling character, and his journey is both harrowing and inspiring. Father Dunne is a fascinating character as well, and his insights into the criminal underworld are invaluable. The story is set against the backdrop of Montreal's gritty underworld, and the author does a great job of bringing this world to life.
If you're a fan of crime thrillers, then you'll love And Pickled Pork Tongues. It's a gripping and suspenseful story that will stay with you long after you finish it.
