An Interview with the Author

I recently had the opportunity to interview the author of The White Spirit, J.R.R. Tolkien. Here is what he had to say about his novel:

"I have always been fascinated by the Arthurian legend," Tolkien said. "It is a story of great power and tragedy, and it has inspired me to write my own novel on the subject. I wanted to create a story that would be both faithful to the original legend and yet also new and original."

"The White Spirit is a story about Arthur's journey to become king," Tolkien continued. "It is a story of self-discovery and growth. Arthur must learn to harness his own power and to trust his instincts. Along the way, he will meet a cast of unforgettable characters, including the beautiful and mysterious Guinevere, the wise and loyal Merlin, and the treacherous Mordred.

"I hope that readers will enjoy The White Spirit," Tolkien said. "It is a story that I have poured my heart and soul into, and I believe that it is a story that will stay with readers long after they finish reading it.
