Saving Capitalism for the Many, Not the Few
Robert Reich's Blueprint for a More Equitable Economy
In his new book, Saving Capitalism for the Many, Not the Few, Robert Reich argues that capitalism is in crisis. He points to the growing gap between the rich and the poor, the stagnation of wages, and the increasing concentration of wealth in the hands of a few corporations. Reich argues that these trends are unsustainable and that they threaten the very foundations of our economy.

Reich believes that we need to rethink the way we think about capitalism. He argues that capitalism is not simply a system of free markets, but a complex system of institutions that shape the way our economy works. Reich proposes a number of reforms to these institutions, including:
- Raising the minimum wage
- Strengthening unions
- Investing in education and infrastructure
- Reforming the tax code
- Breaking up monopolies
Reich believes that these reforms would help to create a more equitable and sustainable economy. He argues that they would help to reduce inequality, boost wages, and create more opportunities for all Americans.
